RE: Warrior's assets siezed

Interesting thing just happened to me. I just called WW got the normal phone system it asked for the extension I wanted I typed in Mark's extension the phone rang and he answered... I did not ask him about any of the problems, I just wanted to call him and let him know I got my trailer back and I was very happy with how is people fixed my trailer and handled my warranty work and got my trailer back to me in a timely manner. Now I admit he did not sound up beat, he sounded very down, BUT I can tell you that the WW phone system is working and Mark is answering his phone. J So what is Marks extension???? Id like to see if I could speak with him.

RE: Weekend Warrior Warranty Work Scheduled

While I could do these repairs myself, and have done some already, I feel it necessary to try to get WW to actually confirm they won't. I want it straight from the horses mouth. No hear say. The repairs aren't effecting any camping. They are minor. I paid a lot of money for this thing and went through hall with a lot of salesmen for over a year before I made the final deal, then hall again as we were signing the deal. I even had some discussions and letters with and to WW and the dealer prior to the final deal. It was a major deal for me to purchase this thing and I deserve the service I want and am owed. Just going to confirm they are and or will not do the work. I'm going to keep calling them until I hear back. Either that or I will drive to the factory to see what I can see. Sorry for the Attitide. Actually Attitude (Eclipse) was my pick for a toy hauler. MDW liked the WW. Go figure :@

RE: Weekend Warrior Warranty Work Scheduled

Yep when WW calls us in a couple of weeks to confirm repairs required we are asking for something in writing. Sooner would be better but knowing that they are still accepting warranty work is a relief knowing/hoping they well be staying in buisness. WW told us that was the next available date. PT that was just way to funny. Snort snort. I'll update this post as we proceed Well we called WW back today because they didn't call us back in the couple weeks we were told they would to get the list of repairs from us and alls we got was a answering machine. We called a few days ago and acually talked to a receptionist and we were to be called back that day buy some guy and that never happened. :? :h :( :M

RE: Doheny state beach - Where to park after...

Try the campground when you get there. There may be a cancellation and you may get lucky and get a space. I don't know of any other places close you can park overnight.

RE: Loading PWC in Raptor 3612

They have a lot of PWC dollies with big wheels. Do a search here and there are some really cool ones. Also you can use one of those electric tongue jacks to load and unload into your hauler. They are rated to move trailers so it wouldn't be problem loading one of those.

Weekend Warrior Warranty Work Scheduled

Just thought I'd let you know MDW called WW yesterday to see if we could and or schedule some warranty work. They told her yes and we are scheduled for Dec 10th and that they would be contacting us in a couple of weeks to confirm the list of repairs and vin #. Dec. will be past our 2 year warranty ending date in Oct. MDW told WW that and WW made a note and said it won't be a problem because we called and scheduled before the ending date was up. Fuel pump is out and we have some cosmetic issue's inside the trailer. This will be the second time in. FYI ya'll

RE: Fuel station is popping fuses

Where do you find your fuel pump fuse? Fortunately, I have not had to look for it...... but inquiring minds need to know :) Mine is at the main panel in the exterior cubby with the power cord. The fuse on mine also feeds my control panel. So when I turn on the pump, the pump would stop and my panel would go out.

RE: Fuel station is popping fuses

Fuse blows when I turn on the fuel pump switch. Fuse also turns off monitor panel. Not sure why they wired it that way. Disconnected wires at pump and replaced fuse and monitor panel is working. Thinking it may be the gears as some other are saying and am waiting to see if WW well take it in and fix it. If not I'm going ask them to send me the gears and I'll do myself and hopefully that will do it.

RE: Toys I wanted to buy and passed up

Really clean all stock 57 Chevy Bel Air 3 speed stick. Looking for my fist car as a kid with my dad it was between the Chevy and a 73 Datsun P/U. Mini trucks were really popular at that time and place so I bought the Datsun even after my dad suggested the Chevy. Lowered it, put rims and tires on it. A split sunroof, new bucket seats and a stereo. Had fun with it but will always regret not buy the 57 Chevy.

RE: WW Repairs

Well with WW closing doors until the after the 4th of July weekend and stopping all warranty work at dealers, from what I have heard that is. I wonder what is going on with my FS2500 that is at their factory getting fixed. I talked to Jim I guess it was on Monday about what was going on and at that time I said they where hoping to get my trailer back to me before July 11th weekend so I can go on the trip I have planned but with the Tues and Wed events with them closing im wondering whats going to happen. Its not like I can go pick my trailer up, its 1700 miles away from me... J I live not to far from the plant and will be headed that way tomorrow I will see if there still open. A friend who worked there just got layed off last week and he was told two different things. He was told they have a cash flow problem and they are trying to fix the problem. He was also told not to hold his breath to look a new job. He was a plant foreman has been there for years. So who knows I hear from a high up from Skyline he says W.W.will file BK. but then he works for the Competition. Yes please do. If someone is there can you ask them when the will be taking warranty work. Our 2 year is up in Oct and wqant to see if we can get in before that.

RE: Off road towing tips

The first thing that will probably hit will be the trailer striking the trucks bed rails. I've seen some 5ver combos that will strike the bed rails real easy so be carefull when you start up any abrupt hills. Same goes for when you decend the hill. The back end of the truck will rise right as the truck peaks and starts down. If you take it at an angle to lesson slope that will help. Watch your back side of the truck as you drive it.

RE: WW Repairs

Just so everyone knows. The issues with the frames of the fs2500 has almost nothing to do with weight, unless it is the tongue that needs fixin. The bending and breaking behind the rear axles is due to the lack of cross bracing from bottom of c-channal to cross members. this results in when a trailer is turning and the rear axles starts to cut, the leaf hangers are welded to the bottom of the c-channel, the the frame starts to tweak because there is no bracing. The fix from the factory clearly shows no signs of weight reinforcement but lateral reinforcement. I hope I explained that well enough. If you look and any other trailer frame you can clearly see that this was one thing was over looked in the manufacturing. If you have questions on the fix from my fs2500 just let me know. There was a issue with the tongues as well I thought. Made from 1/8" steel and bending up over time. They changed to 3/16" steel I thought. We have a friend with a 06 FT that WW replaced the tongue on do to that.
